Placemaking

Sowebuild embraces the principles of placemaking. We believe that great places are built by people, not by bricks. Vibrant communities are the answer to build resilient, sustainable and healthy environments where people love to live and work.

Places are meant for people to feel safe and at home. Places should encourage people to share activities, to collaborate and to help each other out. Places should activate people to carry responsibilities together and to create an environment where meaningful relationships naturally emerge.

Placemaking is a continuous process that has no beginning and no end.
Together with our members we strive to build software that facilitates this co-creation process. We aim for our Buildr App to become an instrument for developers, architects, community managers, residents and coworkers to build the place they want to be part of. Let's build this together!

“Cities have the capability of providing something for everybody, only because, and only when, they are created by everybody. ” -Jane Jacobs
